You have many reasons to wander through Zeytinburnu.

But, be prepared, you shall need a lot of time to be able to visit all of the historical places.

The town, where critical events had taken place in its history, has a dense cultural heritage.  Among them where you can feel
the smell of the history are the city walls overridden by Sultan Mehmet II. The Conqueror's soldiers following the siege of the city, Yedikule Towers where Genç (Young) Osman was executed, Balıklı Ayazma being one of the many places much valued in the Orthodox world, numerous dergahs (dervish lodges) in Zeytinburnu where it used to be the source of mysticism in Istanbul, and Yenikapı Mevlevihane, one of the two most important mevlevihanes, besides Galata Mevlevihane in the city.
